The hotel is situated in a prime location, close to the station and away from the noise. The room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom that functioned well. The breakfast was excellent, varied, and served in a lovely room overlooking the canal. The host was accommodating and friendly, providing fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. The view of the canal from the breakfast room was particularly delightful.
There was one night that was uncomfortable due to mosquitos when the window needed to be open.

Our recent city break was perfect thanks to the wonderful hotel we stayed at. The location was spot on and allowed us to explore all the nearby attractions on foot within minutes. The room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with comfortable bedding that allowed us to get a great night's sleep. We loved the fact that there was no noise from the street and we could relax in the garden courtyard with a cup of coffee, made with the provided espresso maker. The host was so accommodating and allowed us to drop off our luggage early to explore the city.
The steepness of the stairs which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Other than that, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay during their city break.
